Farmyard Animals!

These are really amazing!! Unfortunately they are fan made and not LEGO's own creation, but that didn't stop me putting in a order for some! They are being made by the really clever people over at Brickforge.com

The pig and sheep are the same size as the new LEGO dogs (from the Police and Harry Potetr sets) and the cows are the same size as the standard horses. You can see more pictures and reviews, along with comparison to other LEGO animals at Brickzone's great site (home of the excellent Fabuland Housewife's!)

I think that minifig scale farms and zoo's are something that LEGO really should be making. There is a huge scope for sets with a very wide range of appeal. Just image minifig scale tractors, combine harvesters etc etc . LEGO are you reading this ... oh, you're not!

Large and Small bricks!

I have always liked LEGO things that are slightly different to normal, and am particularly interested in large and tiny scale bricks!
You can see my passion for Large scale versions of normal sized LEGO in a blog run by myself and Cafe Corner Blog creator Brickstreet at http://www.bigbricks.blogspot.com/ A shortcut (and easier to remember!) is also at http://www.bigbricks.co.uk/

As well as extra Large LEGO, I also like the tiny stuff too! I love Modulex, which is a smaller version of LEGO created by the company in the 60's to be used as an aid for architects to make reusable scale models. The bricks themselves actually had 'LEGO' printed on them, but this was changed when to 'M' when a separate company was formed. The company still exists today, but mainly now makes industial signs, altough the tiny Modulex bricks are still made for project planning wall plans.
I have started to create my own site with information about Modulex, although it is very much a work in progress at the moment. I hope to find time to add information to it very soon.

If you have any questions about either, please let me know!
